Kirsten Rimmer is a specialist in Contentious Probate and is a Member of the Association of Contentious Trusts and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS). She has dealt with a number of high value cases over the last ten years under the Inheritance (Provision of Family and Dependants) Act 1975 both bringing Proceedings and Defending Proceedings on behalf of the Executors. Kirsten has also dealt with Probate actions in both challenging the validity of Wills, and Defending Claims on behalf of Executors.

 

Other work includes bringing Administration Actions where Executors have acted improperly and dealing with Constructive Trusts matters such as Applications for the Sale of the Property where Cohabitees have brought a property together and the relationship has subsequently broken down.

Kirsten is an Accredited Mediator and has represented many parties in Contentious Probate Matters and Mediations, which have had successful outcomes thereby avoiding the matter going to trial.
