Phillip Wood
Phillip joined Dawsons in July 2006 from Maxwell Batley. He graduated from Oxford University in 1988 with a BA (Hons) Degree and was admitted as a solicitor in 1993. He acts for both employers and employees, and uses insights gained on one side of the fence for the benefit of clients on the other. His approach is valued by clients as being commercial and pragmatic. He specialises in executive terminations and has a proud record of achieving significant increases in termination packages for departing directors and senior managers. He is also experienced in resisting (and enforcing) restrictive covenants. Although his aim is always to conclude the best possible deal without resorting to the employment tribunal, Phillip also provides start to finish representation in contentious cases, including advocacy at the final tribunal hearing.
