disgusting aftercare post op

i now have a severe infection in my wound which my nurse has said is down to either dirty instruments,dirty stitches or inclean air in operating theatre,or the surgeons poor hygiene.

the infection has spread from the wound to my system and im high risk of sceptismia(sp).

does it make any difference that the surgery wasnt done in the uk and how can i deal with this please?
