Hiya, i am writing this about my parnters family and would like to know the legal side of things.

My partners mum was abused as a child by her brother, its has been mentioned in the past and been privously spoke about, she is a naive women and just wants everyone to be happy, she was told as a child its just what teenage boys do later in life her brother was taken ill and has a list of health issues due to an accident only physical ones not mental ones.

recently my partners mum cared for him on a day to day basis, early this year his first wife came over from spain to look after him as he needed a full time carer. during her time she and the mum were kept seperate when they did meat it was due to payment problems as they hadnt seen each other for years lies unraveld that had been told by her brother it then emerge that the daughter of his first wife had made allegations years before that he had been abusing her when she was six the scerio of what happened was told to my partners mum who brok down as it had happened and things had been said that matched her abuse she cointiued to say that her son when he was 1 got taken to hospital with leasions and thrush around his bottom whilst in the her husbands care.

when he found out that people knew he then said maybe it happened when asked to later admit it to his son and my partner on the phone and in person saying that they wanted it  and should he kill himself or turn him self in.

my partner said turn yourself in later he went out (to turn himself in to the police) when later that night the police contacted his first wife and son to state that they could not return to the house (making them homeless) and now he denies of knowlege of what he had admitted and has started saying if thats true why did you care for me etc etc

he had also been saying that his first wife was in trouble with social servies which was a lie and they are now wondering why he hasnt paid his carers when he had been paid 2500 earlier that month to pay for them.

if this goes any further with the police what could happen and where do they stand?

also the police seem disinterested in the fact he could be a potential risk to the public and as he is "disabled" he is classed as a vulrable adult and people are worried that he will make fause allogations about them and due to his condition, be able to bend the truth and get away with it
